i have all the curly girl brushes but didn't hear about this one until more recently, and i absolutely love it! i've been using only this brush for detangling and styling and it's perfect! i'm seeing less hair when detangling as well, so i think it's also helping minimize breakage in my hair
To paint a picture- I have 4a curly/coily, fine high porosity bone dry hair so you can imagine the tangles.
When it arrived, I was a little skeptical because it looks similar to other detangle brushes, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt since I spent the money. It was in the middle of the week, which is typically when I’ll refresh my hair by detangling and twisting so I figured it would be a great trial run. I was VERY impressed with the way it got through my fairy knots with little product in. It’s very gentle and my whole head took about 5 min total to detangle. The next time I used it was wash day. I decided to layer all products on first after washing then detangle since it’s supposed to define curls as well and boyyyy, the way it went through my hair like butter! My curls were so defined and clumped immediately. I was even more impressed that I literally had about 2/3 less of shedding. This is now my holy grail brush! Just wish it came in pink lol. Very interested in trying to mask next!
I have fine hair and many different curl patterns but this brush glides right through my hair.
I’ve tried most brushes and this is by far the best. Easily slips through my hair while shampooing, conditioning, and detangling.
I’ve used maaaaannnnnyyyyyy brushes and this is without a doubt #1!!!! Detangling is a breeze on both dry and wet hair! My wash days are exponentially easier.
